Illamasqua- Facet was released as part of The Sacred Hour Fall 2013 collection. The other polish in the collection is Hemlock, which is actually a re-promotion.
Facet is right up my alley! It's a smokey purple-taupe base packed with bronzey-gold flakie shimmer.

If you noticed any apparent duochromey shift in the the flakies, it's because there are a couple different shades of them, as you can see above! There's gold as well as a deeper sort of orangey umber.
Formula: Excellent. It's slightly thinner than many Illamasquas, but still a relatively thick formula which goes on smoothly. Two easy coats for opacity- practically applies itself, as they say!
