Hey guys! Today, I have a gorgeous shimmer polish to share with you: Emily de Molly- Queen of the Sea!
This is really more of a Summer shade, and though we're well into Fall (the best season), I promised to show you a plain swatch when I used it in some mermaid nail art for the Summer Color Palettes series. So, that's what's on the docket today!

Queen of the Sea has a green-leaning turquoise base with intense light green glassfleck shimmer. The shimmer is very dense in the base, and as a result makes the entire color appear to be much more greenish.
This is actually the first shimmer finish I've tried from Emily de Molly, and I'm so pleased!
Artificial light, two coats:

A bit closer!

I mean, how pretty is that?!
Formula: Lovely! It's pigmented, creamy, and goes on perfectly- right where you want it! Opaque in two easy coats, and wouldn't change a thing about it!

Comparison Time!
When I wore this, it really reminded me of Zoya- Zuza from the Summer 2012 Surf collection, so I had to bust that one out and take a look:

Zoya- Zuza, Emily de Molly- Queen of the Sea
You can see just from the bottles that they are a similar idea, but clearly different shades of aqua green/ turquoise!
The swatch sticks are in the same bottle order:

Zuza appears a little darker and greener on the swatch stick than it does in the bottle, while the Emily de Molly basically looks identical on the nail as in the bottle. Additionally, Zuza has silver and a light smattering of yellowish shimmer, while Queen of the Sea has just the intense light green shimmer.
So, close, but definitely not dupes!
What do you think?
Do you own either of these pretty turquoise shades?
