Bottle Spam: Polishes I'm Excited to Wear this Spring!

I know April is already half-gone, but here in Chicago, it is just [finally!] starting to feel like Spring, and warming up a little bit.  I've been itching to wear some lighter, happier, Spring-like shades on my fingers, so I will just share which ones I'm excited for this year!

I like to make these [low-content] bottle spam posts, because it helps me brainstorm/ consolidate colors that are yet untried and need to be worn so I can properly assess them- and, more importantly, move them from my Untrieds to Trieds list!  It's a perpetual goal of mine to keep that Untrieds list shrinking, or at the very least, not growing!  I don't know if any of you guys feel the same way.

Anyway- on to the colors!  First up is the peachy-pink-purple family:
Ruby Wing (Color Club)- Desert Valley, Essie- Van D'Go, Barielle- Sailor's Delight, Revlon- Girly, China Glaze- Flying Dragon

Ruby Wing- Desert Valley is supposed to be a color changing polish, so I'm interested to try that out whenever we get some sunny weather.  Even if it doesn't change color, it is gorgeous- look at those iridescent flakies!  I still have not worn Revlon- Girly..tsk tsk...and Essie- Van D'Go is a recent acquisition, so I'm dying to try that one out!

Corals!

Illamasqua- Lament, Misa- Bop Til You Drop, Zoya- LC

Coral is probably my favorite polish color family, and yet I still only came up with three! Illamasqua- Lament is a gorgeous creme...and I probably have a dupe for it, but I don't care- because Illamasqua.

Bright Pinks!

Model's Own- Pink Punch, Color Club- Warhol, Butter London- Cake-Hole, China Glaze- Heli-Yum

I have been meaning to wear Butter London- Cake-Hole for so long, and I remember lemming it pretty hard.  Color Club- Warhol is just insanely bright (neon?!) in the bottle, so I hope that translates to the nail...

Oranges!

Nubar- Orange Cream, Zoya- Arizona, Essie- Braziliant, Illamasqua- Gamma

I don't know why, but I have been really attracted to orange polish lately.  So juicy looking. I haven't worn any of these, but I'm probably the most excited for Illamasqua- Gamma, because it is just obnoxious and insanely bright.  Traffic cone-nails, FTW!

Bluey-Periwinkles:

Essie- Bikini So Teeny, Zoya- Kristin, China Glaze- It's A Trap-eze, Revlon- Smoldering

I've owned China Glaze- It's A Trap-eze since it came out, but haven't worn it. Now is probably the perfect time!  The other three are newer acquisitions, and I'm particularly excited to see how Revlon- Smoldering works layered over other colors, since (at least in the bottle) it's a pretty pretty duochrome.

Greeny-Blues:

Illamasqua- Nomad, Color Club- Blue-Ming, Rescue Beauty Lounge- Bikini Bottom, Essie- Where's My Chauffeur?, Sinful Colors- Gorgeous

I lemmed Color Club- Blue-Ming so very hard, and have owned it for a couple months, and still not worn it. What is wrong with me?! It's the perfect green-tinged light blue in my opinion. Sinful Colors- Gorgeous: I didn't really care for the brushstrokey finish when I swatched this on a swatch stick, but it is still a fabulous mermaid-y color, so I am going to put it on my toes!

And that's it, I think....*

If you see anything here that you need swatches for, let me know!  I will be happy to swatch requests!

*One tip I did want to share that has helped me out immensely for the past few months: If you have a good amount of untried polishes, make a board of all the swatches for those polishes!  I have one (it is secret! muahah), and I like to browse it when I'm unsure which color to wear or swatch next- super handy!

What polishes are you excited to wear this season?!

I REALLY can't wait to see what you think of Gamma, Bikini Bottom, and Blue-ming! I'm about to pull the trigger on Bikini Bottom, Gamma is so alluring (and I don't even like orange that much), and I've heard a LOT of mixed opinions on Blue-ming.

TAKE YOUR TIME THOUGH. Hehe. ;p

By the way I read this too fast...I didn't realize you were taking requests, not swatching all of them! Sorry if I came off demanding, I really didn't know!

Lol! It's OK, I will swatch these next! I really want to wear all three of them, so it's not a big deal at all!

Thanks! I'll put that one on the list. It was kind of dull when I put it on a swatch stick, but maybe it will really improve with topcoat?

I'm excited about that one too! But I have to come up with some colors to layer it over I think? I don't think it's going to go opaque on its own...

That is an awesome and crazy goal...well at least for me it would be!

All those colors are super cute! I'm never on tone with the seasons here because, as you draw out your brightest shades I should be taking out my subdued ones for Fall. But. I. Can't.

It's a good thing the weather here is good all year round. So today is sunny and I'm wearing OPI Can't Find my Czechbook with DL Mermaid's Dream accents (ok, it's a dupe of the DL ;).

I look forward to try the rest of the OPI Euro Centrale shades that came in the mini set I bought, Catrice "It's all I Can BLue", and Essence "I'm Bluetiful".

I don't always stick to the seasons either! Sometimes you just feel like a nice dark plum in the middle of Summer, ya know? Or a nice pastel in Winter! Can't Find My Czechbook is a gorgeous blue!

The greeny blues are really my weakness this spring.
