Essie- Come Here! is from the 2013 Resort Collection. In general, I love all of Essie's Resort collections, but Come Here! was the only one I had to have from this year's lineup.

Come Here! is a cool-toned, bright red polish with pink and/ or coral undertones, depending on the lighting.
It's a really unique red because, while it's super vibrant and eye-catching, there is still a subdued, milky quality to the color/finish? I'm not even sure how to explain it, and maybe you need to see it in person to understand, but either way, I love it!
Artificial light, two coats:

It dries quite a bit darker that bottle color, unfortunately- since the bottle color is pretty fabulous in my opinion.

I can't wait to wear this one on my toes! I love either dark, vampy polishes on my toes, or bright, poppy neon shades.
Window-filtered daylight:

I don't know- this one is gorgeous, and I am really picky about reds.
Outside, shade:

Sun:

You can see some VNL here, but it wasn't readily apparent in person.

Formula: This one is thick and pigmented! Essie is really on top of their game lately, formula-wise; I'm impressed.
The first coat is a bit patchy, but very easy to apply. The second coat is as opaque as I'd want to wear this, and fixes any patchiness or streaky areas. I can barely make out my nail line upon close examination (like three inches away from my eye) after two coats, but it's nothing anyone else will notice. If you paint over one area too many times, it will create bald patches, so be aware not to overwork the polish.
Beautiful! I LOOOOVE your second shot. Essie needs to use that for an ad! You should Tweet it to them:) I am have been so impressed with Essie's formula lately. I think I'm going to grab First Timer and see how that formula is :) I'll take it upon myself to keep testing...hehe
ReplyHaha, thanks! I wonder if that would work...lol. I'm interested to see First Timer!
Gorgeous color, gorgeous photos!
ReplyThanks! I'm so happy I picked this shade up!
Such a beautiful color! I know exactly what you mean by a subdued, milky quality. I have a similarly toned polish with the same quality, and it is lovely and kind of surprising. Great photos :)
ReplyI'm glad you know what I mean by the milky quality! Thank you!
