Today I'm happy to be sharing I Love Nail Polish- Nostalgia (H) from the recent Spring 2014 collection of Ultra Chromes!
Nostalgia (H) is a red-orange-green multichrome that contains holographic shimmer particles. (In case the awesome chrome shiftiness wasn't cool enough!)
As far as the shift goes, it's super strong, and you can see many colors graduating out toward the edges of the nail even without holding your fingers at oblique angles. There is even a hint of aqua at the very edges sometimes, and a bit of yellow in the center occasionally.
I had just cut my nails way down and shaped them prior to doing these swatches, and I did not think it through properly! This color is amazing, and really deserves to be seen on longer nails, I think! Alas!
Artificial light, two coats:
Absolutely fascinating to look at! The holo particles even flash in indoor light slightly, and the color shift is a little mind-blowing.
I realize my photos do reveal brushstrokes, but those really aren't noticeable in person at all because of everything else going on with this polish. Movement, and the constant color shifting, obscure them pretty well, so I don't think they're something that detracts at all.

Now I have to tell you that I had very weak sun, barely peeking through the clouds, when I photographed this. I think the true holo potential is not shown- I just didn't get lucky with the weather!
Formula: It's got a medium viscosity, and is surprisingly pigmented. It glides on the nail very easily, and seems forgiving. Brushstrokes aren't noticeable unless you're viewing two inches from your eyeball. This also dries very quickly, and builds to opacity in two coats!
I also wore this for almost three days and experienced no chipping, and only minimal tip-wear. For a chrome finish, I think that's really excellent!
