Hey everyone! How was your weekend?
Today, I've got a simple swatch of Orly- Beautifully Bizarre to show you. This is the only shade I've tried so far from the Spring 2016 Melrose Collection, but it really called to me. I think it's soft and lovely, but still interesting!

Beautifully Bizarre is a pale, warmish pink base filled with color-shifting blue-to-aqua shimmer. The shimmer is pretty dense, and I was drawn to this polish in particular because of how prominent it looked like it was going to be on the nail.
Artificial light, two coats:

I found this polish particularly tricky to photograph! I think the blue shifting shimmer is more apparent in person, and to make it come across better in photos, you have to underexpose a bit.

These last two ^ photos are probably the best representations of the actual color. The color-shifting blue-aqua shimmer is readily apparent, and it comes across as a beautiful flash or sheen when you move your nails.
Formula: The texture is fairly nice for this type of light shade. It's a bit on the sheer side, but very buildable, and it self-levels very nicely. I think if you're overzealous and get too much on the brush, you could flood the cuticles on the first coat, but I don't think I'd classify the texture as 'runny.' It only took two coats for me to be satisfied with the opacity. Overall, pretty good!
What do you think?
Have you tried this shade or any others from Orly's Melrose Collection?
