[Press Release] OPI- James Bond Skyfall Collection (Holiday 2012)

"This holiday season, OPI celebrates the 50th Anniversary of a fellow world icon – James Bond – appearing in Skyfall. Starring Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem, this highly-anticipated twenty-third installment opens in theaters nationwide on November 9, 2012."

"Inspired by the film’s blend of glamour and danger, OPI launches Skyfall Collection, featuring twelve limited-edition nail lacquers for Holiday 2012":

GoldenEye
All eyes will be upon you when you wear this glorious gold.
The Spy Who Loved Me
A red as romantic as the secret agent inside you.
Die Another Day
Live in the moment in this hot and lively red.
Casino Royale
This high-rolling plum is fit for royalty.
You Only Live Twice
This rich high-shimmer magenta is a once-in-a-lifetime find.
Skyfall
Get Bonded with this magnificent maroon.
Moonraker
Drive your fastest car to get this exhilarating metallic grey.
Tomorrow Never Dies
This eternally intense purple will live forever.
The Living Daylights
This courageous multi-hued glitter sparkles 24/007.
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
This misty-green pewter commands attention.
Live & Let Die
Burn the candles on both ends in this private jet black.
The World is Not Enough
This rosy silver is as addictive as it is beautiful.

I was super excited about The Living Daylights, but I saw a swatch somewhere that showed the glitter curling.  Boo, OPI!  I wonder if they will fix that issue or not.

There will also be an 18K gold flake topcoat, called The Man With The Golden Gun, which I believe will retail for about $38 (Yikes!)

What do you guys think? Are you excited for this collection? I'm not a particularly huge James Bond fan, but it's a neat idea for a collection. I think a couple of these colors will be dupish to recent polishes already out there, but a few look unique. Thoughts?

I want this collection just because it's OPI and I've loved every one of their polishes! And I totally want the gold one just to say I have it :P

I love OPI too! I think I will have to see these in person before I commit though!

Sephora has a real gold flake topcoat called
" It's Real " for $30...still too steep, but at least it's a bit cheaper than the one in this collection. I've heard it's on sale for $8 at the Sephora's inside JC Penney stores.

I want Living Daylights and will pass on the rest.

Yea, it seems like everyone has a real gold flake topcoat these days. I think Zoya just came out with one too. I'm going to hunt down Living Daylights in person, so i can take a look at the glitter myself.

I have The Living Daylights! I haven't actually worn it yet but I've swatched it a few times on wheels and on my nails and it seems to behave well! I also have the Bondettes mini set. I'm tempted to get a full size of The World Is Not Enough though...love that one!
