KBShimmer- Band Geek is a dark charcoal jelly base filled with a mix of gold, silver, and copper hexagonal glitter in varying sizes, as well as gold microglitter.

I think all of the varying metallic tones are supposedly to represent the different instruments in a band or orchestra...get it?

I will apologize for the random, stray dog hairs in some of these pictures! Haha, I just didn't notice them until I loaded the images into Lightroom. Just consider it Ham's helpful contribution.....thanks, Ham.

I don't think my photos do this one justice. It's really pretty and interesting! I've been lemming Deborah Lippmann's Cleopatra in New York for the longest time, and this comes very close, I think!

Formula: It is chock full of glitter, but somehow goes on pretty easily! The glitter is easy to distribute, doesn't clump up, and the base has a lovely jelly consistency. Two medium coats were just about opaque, but I used a third to be safe with some slightly thinner areas.
So pretty! I discover little Hoodle hairs on my nails sometimes too :b
ReplyGreat swatches! This is one of my fave KBShimmers, and I love that the black jelly base is opaque in 2-3 coats but you can still see the glitters through it.
