So, one of my best friends hosted a nail art/ manicure party this past Friday, and we all got to have some girly & relaxing nail painting time (complete with wine very important and snacks)!

There were plenty of nail art supplies like stamping/ Konad stuff, stickers, glitter, striping tape- and, of course, an abundance of polish! I think the hardest part for everyone was deciding what to do and what colors to use.
She also provided blank nail wheels for us to practice/ experiment on first, which I thought was a great idea. It did help with the indecision.

Behold! The manicures:

I used China Glaze- Shocking Pink as a base, and then layered Orly- Decoded on top to make a basic Ruffian design. When that was dry, I sponged Revlon- Stunning onto the tips to create a gradient. I can't wait to mattify this one in a day or two.

It was such a good time- I love having company when I do my nails. Can't wait for the next one! hint hint
Looks like fun!
ReplyIt was!
What a fun night! I'm impressed that everyone's nails turned out so well amidst drinking wine...lol. Not usually a safe combo for me. ;)
ReplyI know! I just went much slower than normal, and everything was fine! And, my friend did everyone's cuticle cleanup (except mine) for them- service!
