I'm trying to get caught up with mainstream brands' Summer releases since it seems like they all happened at once. Here is the preview for Orly's offering for Summer 2013, called 'Mash Up.'

Mash Up is a collection of six polishes with varying finishes and qualities, with (I'm assuming) the aim of offering something to please everyone.

There's a soft lavender cream, Harmonious Mess, and two Summery shades infused with blue shimmer: Choreographed Chaos & Pretty-Ugly. There's also a darker, shimmery purple called Beautiful disaster, a strange shade for Summer- but hey. The remaining two are pretty interesting: a bright neon orange called Mayhem Mentality, and Sparkling Garbage, a green/aqua jelly base with tons of holographic shimmer.
So, I don't know how well these polishes go with each other, and the promo images are sort of 70's-insane, but I do think there will be some gems here. What do you think?
I have Sparkling Garbage and Mayhem Mentality and both are AMAZING! Sparkling Garbage definitely needs to be layered though!!
ReplyYea, I read that Sparkling Garbage is pretty sheer. It does look gorgeous though...I was torn on getting that one.
