Here are the first 3 of 6 Zoya Fall 2013 Pixie Dusts. I grouped the warmer and cooler colors together- today, we'll take a look at the warmer ones!

First is Zoya- Carter:


Carter is a dark plum base filled with very light-catching, sparkly warm fuchsia glitter.

This one is absolutely stunning in person, and I feel my photos fail to show how truly sparkly it is!

Carter may be my favorite of all the Fall Pixie Dusts!

Formula:  It's thinner than some of the other Pixie Dusts I've tried, but still pretty easy to control. Dries down quickly; I only needed two coats for an opaque finish.  This one will look incredible with a glossy topcoat!

Next, here is Zoya- Arabella:


Arabella is dark pink/ warm-toned plum with lighter, tonal fuchsia sparkle.

I actually really love this sort of warm purple/ plum color, but compared to the other Pixie Dusts, Arabella wasn't my favorite. The sparkle in it is nice, but didn't have a "whoa" factor like most of the others, at least in my opinion.  It did photograph really well, however. 

That said, this is probably, next to Tomoko, the most wearable shade in the collection!

Formula: Thick, and super pigmented: almost opaque in one coat.  I did two out of habit, and it goes on just as easily as all the others, although doesn't dry down as quickly (possibly because of the thickness?)

Last, here is Zoya- Dhara:


Dhara is a medium orange with tonal, lighter yellow-orange glitter particles.  Unlike Summer Pixie Dust, Destiny, Dhara has no cool-toned base, and is really a pure orange- even bordering on a burnt orange in some lights.

Dhara is stunning when the light hits it!

I think this one could for Summer or Fall.

Formula: Thinner than some of the other Pixie Dusts, and a little sheerer, too.  You'll want three coats for perfect opacity, but this polish is so reflective, two is quite wearable also. I only used two coats for swatches, but my second coat was a little thicker than the first.
