Today I have Picture Polish- Imperial to show you! This is one of the first Picture Polishes that caught my eye...long before I ever owned any of the brand. It's a collaboration shade by The Swatchaholic (as it says on the packaging!).

Imperial is a medium, royal purple base filled with blue shimmer and gold hex glitter. It's hard for me to decide whether this is a cool or warm-leaning purple, since the shimmer is definitely cool, and does change the overall temperature of the color, I think.
The blue you see at the bottom of the bottle above is just sunken blue shimmer. You could turn this one upside down for a while prior to use, but I still got enough blue shimmer without doing that...although my swatches don't really show it- gah!
Artificial light, two coats:

Window-filtered daylight:

(I think the weird lines on the nail are from lotion that I failed to completely remove before photos- sorry!)
Outside, shade:

Formula: It is pretty damn nice. There's not much to say. It glides on in a buttery way, and is opaque in two coats!
What do you think?
