Hey guys! Are you ready for the second installment of the upcoming ILNP Summer 2015 Ultra Holos? Today, I've got the other five colors to share with you! If you missed the first post, check it out here!

Here are the five we'll be looking at today!

L to R: Closure, Paige, Walking Home, Honor Roll, Missed Calls
Here we go!
First, the black, ILNP- Missed Calls:

Don't mind the dog hair- Ham just had to be in the photo!
Missed Calls is a soft charcoal-black with the Ultra Holo finish. The rainbow holographic effect is very prominent in this one against the dark base!
Artificial light, three coats:

Outside, sun:

Rainbows!
Up close:

Formula: It's a tiny bit sheer, but goes on super smoothly and self-levels. Builds nicely to full coverage in two thick coats or three thin ones! (I used three for swatches to make sure the tips were fully opaque for macro photos.)
--
Next, this is ILNP- Honor Roll:

Honor Roll is a rich, purple-leaning deep blue (an indigo navy?) Ultra Holo.
Artificial light, two coats:

Outside, sun:

Up close:

Formula: Very similar to the others, except a little more pigmented and less sheer! Applies easily, builds well, and opaque in two easy coats!
--
Next, the purple, ILNP- Walking Home:

Walking Home is a dark, royal purple Ultra Holo. It seems to walk the line between warm-toned and cool-toned purple, but if I had to choose I'd say it leans slightly cooler. Seriously a stunner!
Artificial light, two coats:

Outside, [weak] sun:

Up close:

Formula: It's also very similar to the others but with the denser pigmentation of Honor Roll. Very nice, opaque in two coats!
--
Here is ILNP- Paige:

Paige is a dark, berry-fuchsia pink Ultra Holo.
Artificial light, three coats:

Outside, sun:

Up close:

Formula: It's very similar to Walking Home and Honor Roll, just sliiiightly sheerer. It was just about opaque at two coats, but thin at the tips, so I added a third for swatches. Very smooth and controllable, though!
--
Finally, ILNP- Closure:

Closure is a cool-toned (blue-based) medium red Ultra Holo. I think some people might even consider it a red-pink or dark pink. It looks much warmer toned in the bottle than it does on the nail- which I personally love, since blue-based reds are my jam!
Artificial light, two coats:

Outside, sun:

Up close:

Formula: Very similar to the others but with the slightly more opaque pigmentation of Honor Roll and Walking Home! Easy to spread on nail, self-leveling, and builds to opaque coverage in two medium coats! (The second coat feels especially buttery. I found with all of these that the polish loves to cling to itself, so it builds really nicely and is super nice to control- especially during that final coat!)
--
Overall, I have similar feelings toward these as I do toward the first five I took a look at! They are pretty awesome, and I feel like there's a color here for everyone! Three in this bunch (Honor Roll, Walking Home, and Closure) also had denser pigmentation than the rest of the collection and were nicely opaque in two coats instead of three! Incidentally, based on color alone, those three are easily my favorite from this group! I can see myself wearing Walking Home a lot- it's such a great shade of blue!
Available for pre-order this Friday, June 12th | $9 | ilnp.com
Which is your favorite from this group??

Too much awesomeness in this post! :D
ReplyLove this holo-porn! :D
ReplyYay! Thank you! They are so fun to photograph! :)
ReplyLol, then my job here is done! Thank you!!
ReplyHow does Missed Calls compare to Color Club Beyond?
ReplyWell, I don't have that Color Club, but I imagine that the holo particles are a little bigger in Missed Calls + the holo flakes. Sorry I can't compare!
ReplyThank you Cait. That's kinda what I was thinking. It's hard because your swatches are so gorgeous and make me want all of them:)
ReplyAw, thank you! Well, they are all gorgeous in person too! I know that doesn't help, haha!
