ILNP Summer 2015 Polishes pt.2 [Swatch] & [Review]

Hey guys! Happy Hump Day! Today I'm sharing the final five polishes from the ILNP Summer 2015 collection for your viewing pleasure! (If you missed Pt.1, it is here!)

Let's get right into it!

ILNP- Cameo

Cameo is the new Ultra Chrome in the collection! Its central/ main color is a very warm purple- almost a fuchsia. It shifts to green and gold very prominently at the edges.

Artificial light, three coats:

This one is very shifty, and it was super easy to capture all of the colors!

Formula: It's like every other Ultra Chrome I've tried. It has a sheer formula which is on the thin side in terms of viscosity. But, it builds well and is nearly opaque in three smooth coats. I just needed a third to completely cover the tips of my nails. Brushstrokes dry down to become unnoticeable at normal viewing distances. Nice!

ILNP- Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is a mix of metallic color-shifting Ultra Chome Flakies. It's basically a rainbow in a bottle!

Artificial light, one coat over Long Walks:

Here is one coat layered over Cameo:

I thought those two looked nice layered!

Here is Kaleidoscope built up to full coverage. This is five coats (no top coat), but you could use sponging to make it easier:

Formula: It's pretty perfect for a flakie, in my opinion! The density is just right for layering, and the base carries everything well. You can paint this over your nail and multiple brushstrokes won't drag the flakies all the way down your nail. It's very easy to get an even distribution!

I think you'd need five coats to wear this opaque, so I've shown that. It does dry down incredibly fast, so for just an accent nail five coats wasn't painful, honestly. The other thing you could do is sponge it on, which can build opacity faster with flakies. Personally, I like it layered more, anyway!

Next, ILNP- Money Bin:

Money Bin is holographic golden-yellow with bright silver flakes.  Money Bin and the next two polishes are sisters (in finish) to Fame and Happily Ever After from last Spring's release.

Artificial light, two coats:

I bounced the light at several different angles to show how changeable and metallic these next three polishes really are:

I'm just loving all that silver flake in there!

Formula: It's nice! Feels kind of foil-like going on. The polish clings to itself in a good way, and makes it easy for you to get it where you want it. Applies very smoothly, and opaque in two coats!

Here is ILNP- Pink Mimosa:

Pink Mimosa is a soft, warm-toned pink with holographic shimmer, veins of pink shimmer, as well as the silver flake.

Artificial light, two coats:

So I don't think my photos do this one full justice! It became my favorite of these three silver-flake holos! It's just very flattering on the skin! (It also photographs a bit cooler (purpler) than it actually is, so has been slightly color-corrected.)

Formula: It's great! Similar to Money Bin in every way. Easy to apply, and opaque in two coats!
--

Last, here is the blue, ILNP- Shoreline:

Shoreline is a soft aqua with holographic shimmer and bright metallicsilver flakes. There is also super subtle pink shimmer in this, but it tends to blend in with the holo. This is really a green-leaning type of pastel blue.

Artificial light, two coats:

Formula: Just like Pink Mimosa and Money Bin! Can't really complain about any aspect of it- very satisfying to apply and opaque in two coats!
--

Overall, I love Kaleidoscope and Cameo. How can you not?! Plus, they pair so well together! I'm also very happy to see more polishes in the same finish family as Fame and Happily Ever After. Between the holo and silver flake, those three are just so metallic and full of surprises- fun to wear! Money Bin is not my favorite, just aesthetically. It's a bit too brassy on my cool-toned skin, but that's not to say that it won't look fab on someone else!

Formula-wise, they're all great in my opinion. I was particularly pleased that Pink Mimosa, Money Bin, and Shoreline built easily to full opacity in two coats. And not only that- they are smooth and easy to control. Can't complain!

What do you think?
Which is your favorite here?

Kaleidoscope rocks over cameo!!! I like it a lot over long walks also, and I didn't think that i would. Have you tried layering it over black?

I got Homecoming and Black Orchid. Both are dark holos and nothing like I have in my collection. So excited to try them!
