Cirque Colors Neon Vice Watermable Nails [Nail Art]

Hey everyone! I can't believe it's the first day of July! How??

Anyway, today I have some watermarble nail art with the upcoming Cirque Colors neon Vice Collection for Summer 2015!  I knew I was going to try to marble these as soon as I saw them!

If you're looking for even more bottle shots, they can be found in the mail-time post, here. I'm working on swatches today, so those should be up in a couple of days!

Onto the nails!

This was done over a white base (KBShimmer- Eyes White Open), and I used every polish in the Vice set, including the holo topper called We Trippy. So, the little flecks and particles you see distributed throughout the marble are from that!

These polishes marble very well! They spread nicely in the water and I was able to get about 11-12 rings before they stopped spreading. With that many rings, the centermost ones were very small, but it still worked!

Up close:

I did end up with a lot of water spots (^and a smudge on that nail tip where I was being a clutz). I thought I let my nails dry totally before top coating, but I guess not! The good news is that those water spots are totally invisible in person, and you'd never know if it weren't for the macro lens! These nails were done under...duress, and while I won't go into it because ~interpersonal drama~, I'm quite proud of myself for the outcome despite what was going on! Nail zen!

These were really fun nails to wear, and I couldn't stop rubbernecking! I do wish I'd topped them with the We Trippy holo top coat instead of adding it to the watermarble, though. I don't know why that didn't occur to me!

The limited edition Vice Collection is available for pre-order now, and ships July 9th, from Cirque Colors or their Stockists$13/ea

*Disclosure: polishes in this post were provided to me as press samples for honest review, and all opinions are my own.

Amazing water marble! I absolutely love them (water marbles) but they scare me to death.

Thanks, Lisa! I was a bit disappointed with the water spots, tbh, but they looked okay at a normal distance! :)

Yay, thank you! They mostly came from Etsy, I think!

Oh, I know the feeling! They used to scare me, but I just started doing them- definitely trial and error! Thank you!
