Hey everyone! How was your weekend? Today I've got a swatch of Indigo Bananas- Cherry Blossom Roads and some simple nail art using just two polishes and some Scotch tape!

Cherry Blossom Roads was released this Spring in a set of 5 pastel glassfleck finishes. You can see pictures of them all in this mail-time.
Artificial light, two coats:

Is that not stunning?!
This is the first polish I've tried on my actual nails from the set (as opposed to swatch sticks), but they all seem to have great formulas! This was two easy coats with top coat!
It's very hard to capture on camera, but the glassfleck shimmer in this one is green and green-gold, and it contrasts so nicely with the base!
Onto the nail art!

For this look, I made sure the base was totally dry (with Glisten & Glow- HK Girl), then taped off the triangles with Scotch tape. I dabbed on two "coats" of the flakie Indigo Bananas- Mul-Ti-Pass, and then quickly removed the tape!
To finish, I topped with Butter London- Matte Finish because I love the way matte flakies look! So metallic!
Up close!

Polishes used:

L to R: Indigo Bananas- Mul-Ti-Pass, Indigo Bananas- Cherry Blossom Roads
Mul-Ti-Pass is a mix of fifteen mega chrome flakies that was released with the Summer Neon, the 10th Element polishes. It's super pretty!

This is actually, for me, the quickest and easiest nail art to fall back on when I'm not sure what else to do! Does anyone else have some technique they default to?
*Disclosure: polishes in this post were provided to me as press samples for honest review, and all opinions are my own.
