Hey everyone! Welcome to a new week! How ya doin'??
Today I have swatches to share with you of the Cirque Colors Vice Collection, which is a limited edition set of 5 neon cremes and 1 holographic top coat, releasing this Thursday, July 9th, but available for pre-order now! More bottle shots are here, and I also have some watermarble nail art featuring the set if you're so inclined!

In all swatches I've shown 1 coat of the holo top coat, We Trippy (above), layered over the middle and index nails, and you'll get a good view of how it looks layered over each color up close, as well! These neons are not swatched over white- they are plenty bright on their own! (And, I'm also in the camp that thinks a good neon shouldn't need white underneath!)
Let's get started!
First, here is Cirque Colors- Vitamin D:

Vitamin D is a neon coral-peach creme. So pretty, and I am sure many will be drawn to this shade the most!
Artificial light, two coats:

We Trippy over Vitamin D:

Formula: It's thick, but surprisingly workable for a color like this. It can drag if you go back over an area way too many times, but it does self-level slowly a bit. It dries down quickly, and with a thicker second coat this was opaque! Pretty nice, and I'm especially pleased with the pigmentation!
--
Next Cirque Colors- Nympho:

Nympo is a hot fuchsia pink creme that dries a hair darker and more warm-toned than bottle color.
Artificial light, three coats:

We Trippy over Nympho:

Formula: It has more of a crelly texture than Vitamin D, and goes on so smoothly, self-leveling. Slightly sheer, but dries down very quickly and builds nicely. I would have stopped at two coats if I weren't swatching- it was even and mostly opaque with just slight VNL! Great texture!
--
Here is Cirque Colors- Lean:

Lean is a super bright purple that is fairly balanced between being warm and cool-toned- at least to my eye! If I had to pick, I'd say it "leans" slightly warm? Ba-dum-chk!
Artificial light, two coats:

We Trippy over Lean:

The holo particles in We Trippy definitely seem to stand out more against a darker base!
Formula: It's creamy, pigmented, and nearly opaque in one coat! The viscosity is perfect, in my opinion, and I used two easy coats for swatches! A+!
--
Next, Cirque Colors- Miami-Dade:

Miami-Dade is a bright cyan: a blue that leans ever-so-slightly to the green side. Beautiful!
This is beautiful in the bottle, but somehow even more gorgeous on the nails!
Artificial light, two coats:

We Trippy over Miami-Dade:

^The second shot above shows the lighting coming in at an angle that doesn't cause holo madness, but I wanted to show the particle sizes in this topper! You can see that there are some sparse, slightly larger holo square glitters in there, and they do twinkle a bit separately from the matrix of holo shimmer!
Formula: It's on the thicker side, and is a little prone to cuticle drag if you use too many strokes during each coat. The first coat is streaky, but it builds well and the second coat clings nicely, so is a bit easier to apply. Two coats were opaque for me!
--
Finally, Cirque Colors- C.R.E.A.M.:

C.R.E.A.M. is a neon lime green creme. So bright!
Artificial light, two coats:

We Trippy over C.R.E.A.M.:

Formula: It's a bit streaky on the first coat, but goes on pretty nicely and self-levels a tiny bit. It's a pretty good texture and viscosity for a color like this. A second, thicker coat was opaque, but I think most people will need a third to obscure streaks, especially if your preference is for thinner coats.
--
Overall, I feel like this is an extremely well-curated set of neon cremes! There's sort of one from every color family, and all of the shades were quite pleasing to me aesthetically! As neons, these all dry to some form of satin-matte, but I've shown them with top coat for a finished look. Formula-wise, Lean was perfect, and Vitamin D and C.R.E.A.M. were probably the most difficult, but still really nice for colors like that, in my opinion. I didn't struggle with them!
The holo topper We Trippy, which is beautiful, gives a lot of versatility to this set of neons as well! There's probably a lot you can do with it aside from simple layering, but it did look nice over each color, I thought. I do think that the holographic effect is more noticeable on top of the darker shades, especially Lean, but it's pretty and delicate on the lighter ones as well. It's got a great density for giving a soft linear holo look in just one coat, and went on really easily. It does make the base color slightly...milky-looking in comparison to nails without the topper. I think you can see that in swatches. There's no getting around that, but for the most part We Trippy delivers holo goodness without changing the base color too much!
