[Swatch] Misa- BreakAway

Here is Misa- BreakAway from the Fall 2012 Wanderlust collection.  It was the only polish that called to me out of the six Wanderlust polishes.

Breakaway is a medium, warm-toned purple base with beautiful golden/orange shimmer.

Artificial light, 2 coats:

Unfortunately, the shimmer is nice in the bottle, but not so apparent on the nail.  It ends up being one of those secret-shimmer polishes that looks like a creme in most situations.

Outside, shade:

Window-filtered sun:

The shimmer is more visible when the sun hits it.

Here is a closeup of the shimmer:

Formula: Was great.  Easy, two-coater.  I've been consistently impressed with Misa's formulas, especially for the price point.

I don't have anything quite like Breakaway, but I believe Zoya- Tru is dupish, and OPI- Dutch Ya Just Love OPI? is very similar.

You can buy Misa polish online at their website: www.misacosmetics.com , or at either www.head2toebeauty.com or www.transdesign.com.

This is such a beautiful colour! But I haaate it when shimmers are so intense in the bottle but don't translate onto the nail!

Me too. It's a trick. Well, at least the bottle is pretty.
