A little something different tonight! I have gathered some recent accent nails I've worn in the last couple of months. Here we go!
This is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Bittersweet with OPI- Warm & Fozzie on the pointer finger and thumb. I enjoyed wearing the contrast of a creme with a foil-type finish polish.
Zoya- Blu with Model's Own- Indian Ocean on the ring finger. It was less subtle in real life, and Blu is really the perfect color to act as 'underwear' for Indian Ocean!
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Gilty Party with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Snow Globe on the ring finger. This was pretty, but a little too subtle for just an accent nail, I think.
Illamasqua- Glitterati with Cult Nails- Charlatan on the ring and pinkie nails. Not that Charlatan needs any help being awesome, but I really loved how Glitterati's glitter peeked through a bit!
Zoya- Trixie with Zoya- Luna layered over on the thumb, index, and ring. These two silvers are meant to be together, and it's nice to see the different textures together with one color tone!
I don't always wear accent nails, but it's a nice way to mix it up when you get bored with a solid color. And, it's a great way to experiment in layering different polishes without dedicating an entire manicure to the process!
I think I will be collecting my accent nails and doing one of these posts every once in a while. What do you guys think?
