Here is A England- Dorian Gray from the Gothic Beauties collection released last Winter.
Artificial light, two coats:

Dorian Gray is an interesting metallic-y gray, almost a gunmetal. It seems to have cool base with, maybe, warmer (pewter? gold?) ultra-fine shimmer.

It's a little mesmerizing, and almost has a slight duochrome quality when you move your fingers.
When I wear greys (and I love grey nail polish), I usually gravitate towards cremes, but this one was really nice to wear, and interesting. A really good metallic.
Window-filtered daylight:

Outside, shade:

And, it's certainly a chameleon, color temperature-wise, looking greener indoors and more blue-toned outside.
Formula: It's a bit thick, but glides over nail easily. It sort of wants to cuticle drag but levels out well, and the second coat is much better. I might thin it out a little the next time I use it.
Beautiful polish! I've never tried this brand yet, but would love to. Have a great day!
ReplyYou should! They have a bunch of holos, as I'm sure you have seen, and I think the formulas are always very nice. :)
Gorgeous pictures!
ReplyThank You! :)
I love greys but I also prefer cremes. A england polishes are generally gorgeouos though :) I don't have Dorian Gray maybe I should check it out!
ReplyWho can resist a good grey? It goes with everything!
