To start the new year right, I thought I'd debut my first ever Deborah Lippmann swatch on Polish Hound: Deborah Lippmann- Let's Go Crazy.
I've been avoiding delving into the world of this wonderful brand because I didn't want to feel compelled to collect them all! But recently, Gilt.com had a great deal on several different sets, and I just couldn't pass them up for the price!

Let's Go Crazy is a royal purple jelly base containing a mix of variously-colored and sized hexagonal glitters. There's silver, gold, green, fuchsia, blue, and orange- to name a few.
Artificial light, two coats:

Window-filtered daylight:

This is just a really pretty glitter/ base combination, and I find it very festive!
Outside, shade:

Formula: It's got a medium viscosity, and glides on the nail nicely! I turned the bottle upside down for a about a half hour prior to using it because the glitters appeared to be concentrated at the bottom. I did not have to fish for glitter at all, and I didn't have to dab it on specially- which is a huge bonus. The base really deepens after the second coat, and all I needed were two. My favorite glitter formula I've tried in a long time!
Very pretty! I tested this one at Sephora a couple months ago... I have yet to buy a DL, need to change that!
ReplyIt's definitely worth it when they're on sale!
Wow, this is really pretty....I definitely need some more DL's as well, I only have mermaids dream.
ReplyYea, but that's such a classic...
Gorgeous! I was just wearing this one the other day myself. :)
ReplyAwesome! :)
A good New Year's polish, named for a party song.... :D
ReplyHappy new year!
