I have been dying to try indie brand Elevation Polish for a few months now. Before the Holidays, I managed to get my grubby paws on a couple of shades! Presenting Polish Hound's first Elevation Polish swatch! Yay!

Elevation Polish - These Boots Were... is a warm, mauvey-plum (or red-purple?) base filled with interesting particles. There are tiny, flakie-type pink/gold flecks, as well as some ultra-fine lighter blue shimmer which gives the polish an icy glow at certain angles, and really works to contrast nicely with the base color.
Artificial light, two coats:

Window-filtered daylight:

Outside, shade:

In macro, the finish is a bit complex. There's definitely a nice balance between the density of flakies and the background blue shimmer.
Formula: It's got a medium consistency, and is just a joy to use. It glides over the nail surface easily, and self-levels instantly. Two easy coats were all I needed. Just about perfect!
what a gorgeous color! I wasn't even aware of this Elevation polish. So pretty!
ReplyOh man! You have so many good colors to stalk now!
Love the Nancy Sinatra song the name is based on - a classic:-) Haven't tried Elevation Polish yet, very pretty!
ReplyThat is a great song! I'm impressed with my first Elevation. I have one more on hand, but so far so good. :)
