To celebrate the Fourth of July, I've done a skittlette featuring Sally Hansen's new Color Frenzy glitter topper called Red White & Hue!

The light grey base color is OPI- I Vant To Be A-Lone Star. I used Zoya- Sooki to stamp the pattern on the middle nail, which is from MoYou London Sailor Collection- 05. Unfortunately, my top coat (OTD) totally smudged the stripes, and I was so sad about it! We'll just say this nail is a distressed flag, since it didn't even stamp uber cleanly.
All the polishes used:

The thumb has Sinful Colors Shine- Most Sinful:

The ring nail has a base of Zoya- Purity, and I used a decal from Nailed Kit. I have to say that I followed the Nailed Kit instructions to the letter, and it did not apply as expected. It didn't adhere to my nail, and I had to peel the backing off of the decal separately, and apply it with tweezers. It did work out in the end though!

On the pointer and pinkie I have Sally Hansen Color Frenzy- Red White & Hue layered over OPI- I Vant To Be A-Lone Star. The pinkie has two layers, and the index just one, so you can get a sense of the glitter density.
Unfortunately, Red White & Hue did cause a lot of tiny bubbling even though I used a thin layer. Maybe it got shaken too much in the mail? I even re-did the index nail three times trying to avoid the bubbling- to no avail. This might be a great polish for glitter gradients applied with a sponge.
As you can see, the imperfections aren't noticeable at all from normal viewing distances:

Have a safe and happy Fourth!
