Skittlette with Picture Polish Urban Shades! [Nail Art]

Here is a little skittlette I did with three of the Picture Polish Urban Shades I received in my nail polish Secret Santa!  Does this count as a skittlette technically since the two similar nails are slightly different due to the heart stud? I have no idea, but I'm going with it!

The base was Picture Polish- Bonkers, which I actually wore for a couple of days prior to doing the nail art.  I really love it. I think it's the perfect medium, warm-toned plum!

Now, I will say that a lot went wrong during the process of creating this design! My topcoat dragged the gradient quite a bit- I think next time I just need to wait longer before applying topcoat or perhaps use a thicker one first (like Gelous). Also, I got quite a bit of bubbling after creating the gradient, and once again, I think I just sponged it on too quickly.

Polishes used:

I still thought it was pretty cute, and I love this color palette overall!

I'd love to know what you think!

There's something reminiscent of oil paintings going on with your gradient, because of the drag, I'm sure, but it's different and quite cool. You should make it a thing! I really like these colors together, too, and it is most definitely a skittlette, at least to my understanding (less than five colors used, two to three nails matching in some fashion).

Seriously every time I see these three colors used together I feel like I must have them! They are so beautiful. But I have no Picture Polish at all in my collection.

Thank! OTD. I've used it before and didn't encounter this problem, but this time it was a really brand new bottle, so maybe it was thinner, and the brush touched the polish more? I don't know!

    Aw, thanks!

I think you're gonna love the ILNPs! That is tooo bad about Zoyas being hard to get! :/ I love Frida, and all of the Pixie Dusts are great, so I think you'll enjoy that!

Haha, I know the feeling- it happened to me! PP is hard to get in the US since shipping is spendy, but all of the shades I have have had great formulas and have been totally worth it. :)

Haha, maybe I will drag more gradients, then! It's kinda like wet marbling, or whatever they call it, I guess. Cheers!
