Today I'm excited to show my first ever Smitten shade, Smitten Polish- Glacial Springs!

Glacial Springs is described as a "teal holographic glitter suspended in a turquoise-blue jelly base." I would say that's accurate. The overall color comes off as a medium, blue-leaning teal, I think. The holo particles, which are chunkier microglitter, flash mostly green-chartreuse-blue.

I think it's really stunning and eye-catching! The finish reminds me a lot of the holographic L.A. Girl polishes, called 3D Effects, except slightly less rainbow and more holographic within the blue-green color range, if that makes any sense!

Formula: The jelly base has a medium-thick consistency which paints on smoothly and evenly. The glitter is denser in the base than I was expecting, so the polish has a good level of pigmentation, and I was able to get it opaque in two coats! Very nice!
It does dry down to a sort of slightly-gritty satin matte finish, so top coat is needed to smooth the surface and bring out the glitter. But, it wasn't a hungry glitter, and I only needed one coat of INM- Out the Door for smoothness.
Have you guys tried Smitten Polish?
What do you think about Glacial Springs?
Gorgeous swatches, as usual! I'm becoming a big fan of Smitten Polish lately!
