Hey everyone! Today I'm going to share a Misa polish with you, Misa- Frozen in Time! Misa is definitely one of my very favorite commercial brands, and I know it's underrepresented on the blog, so I'm happy to show this one!

Frozen in Time is from the Fall 2012 Wanderlust collection, and I've previously swatched another shade from the collection, Misa- BreakAway, when it was originally released in 2012. (You can really see how different my swatches used to look- not to mention my nail shape!)
Anyway, Frozen in Time is a dustier lavender base (maybe a blue-leaning lavender?) filled with pink microshimmer. Sometimes, I think I see orange shimmer too.

Outside, shade:

As you can see, the shimmer is fairly hidden on the nail, and that was disappointing for me. You can see it in the sun (below), but for the most part this polish appears, from normal viewing distances, like a creme finish. Bummer.

Formula: It's really, really nice! I was surprised at how buttery the texture was, and it covers evenly and opaquely in two coats. Can't really ask for more!
I definitely think it is a bit periwinkle-y. Beautiful shade though. Love the shimmer!
ReplyThank you! I was a little let down by the shimmer, but the overall color and nice formula make up for it a bit. :)
ReplyThanks! I am so into purples this year...I don't know what it is.
